About Me

Hi, I’m Greg. I’m London born, then raised in San Francisco’s last heyday as a teen. Studied in Scotland, lived and worked in both Japan and Brazil as a teacher, volunteered in Central America, as well as traveling the world whenever I get the free time. Who knows where I’ll end up next?

I identity as many things: a wanderer, an eccentric, an atheist, a multipotentialite, a musician and a Bohemian (or maybe just a Beatnik- I can’t decide). I spend my days cloud gazing, playing jazz and Anglo-Irish folk music, collecting vintage suits and distilling single malt scotch.

I started this blog as a vehicle for self-expression and hopefully community building. A lot of thoughts always bouncing around in my head at any one time- I always feel better when I get them off my chest. I hope others find them entertaining, amusing, infuriating, thought provoking and/or inspirational. Or maybe they just think I’m full of it. Think and decide for yourself.

I’ve tried to live my life on my own terms as best I can. Sometimes it’s been a car wreck, and at other times a great success. In any case, I’m never satisfied with complacency and am well aware that sooner or later… we all run out of road.  As an old Chinese proverb states, “May You Live in Interesting Times…”
